The words warm and happy are definitive of this wedding… What a welcoming, affectionate family and such a relaxed, happy wedding to photograph! Marine and Patrick wed at his parents’ home in Stellenbosch, surrounded by the family pets and industry friends who added a personal touch to the day… A beautiful marquee was set up in the gardens next to the pond, as well as super-cool couches laid out on the lawn for the guests to relax and enjoy each other’s company, creating the magical atmosphere for a perfect backyard wedding, with an array of richly colourful decor setting the perfect tone for a huge celebration of the union of these two souls. Marine was the happiest, most vivacious and fun-loving bride and made my job so easy – she is picture-perfect at every angle and so in love with her prince! The day unfolded without a hitch, coordinated by Bonton and I loved the intimacy of the occasion and the fun-loving personalities all enjoying and celebrating the nuptials of the happy couple. Spit braais and toasties, a gin and tonic station, homemade fudge and a coffee station – soulful food for soulful fun-loving people who live life to its fullest. The dance floor was one of the happiest and alive I’ve seen, the tunes mixed in by the party-starter, DJ Chopper, with endless smiles and joy erupting over and a few grand appearances by the groom himself to the cheers of the guests!
