Lily and Paal

Lily and Paal met in their university years amidst the vibrant and eclectic Cape Town student lifestyle, they often frequented Obz and Paal would pick Lily up for dates in his retro VW beetle painted with the South African flag! He’s actually originally from Norway and that’s where these two live now! They are a happy, easy-going and colourful couple who live life fully and live in the glow of love of their many friends and family, always savouring experiences, travel, tastes, colour and sound! I had so much fun shooting them in Bokaap – the bright houses reflected their personalities perfectly, followed by a sunset at the dunes, a special spot from years past… Their wedding is the first one I’ll be shooting to bring in the new year of 2016 at Lily’s childhood home and I couldn’t imagine a happier and more perfect couple to start off the year with a bang!
