This wedding felt incredibly special to me – brimming with all the feels! The lush lawn, whispering oaks and sprawling mountains at Pat Busch are a scene like no other, an earthy ease set the tone for the day. What struck me the most was the sense of love and connection between these family members, the display of emotion that strummed my heart chords and makes my “job” so rewarding. This connection balanced perfectly by the natural surroundings and the sense of something greater at play infused all of the interactions on the day. Nothing is taken for granted here, the people in the lives of Kiara and Richard are valued and appreciated. The wind had it’s say, howling through the valley but these two rolled with it – a metaphor for how life deals a hand and it’s how you play the cards out…These two are creatively weaving their tapestry – from the Cayman Islands, where they met, to settling in Cape Town…with adventure, love, laughs and family all along the way.
