It was quite the wedding week for Kate and James, with Kate’s sister also getting married 10 days later! Originally from Zimbabwe, but now living in Perth, the venue they chose, Lourensford had close ties to their memories from childhood and will now forever be a magical place for these two. With guests travelling in from all over and staying out in Erinvale – it was a huge reunion of long-losts for a good time of proper catching up.. The most down to earth and genuine group of people you could find and its clear just how much their friends and family care about these two. Not the poser-type, these two were so utterly calm…I just loved documenting this day, unscripted – the real moments that will matter for years and years of their nearest and dearest and this special time spent in South Africa. Getting married under the rustling leaves in the avenue, the happy tears, the ambiant buzz of chit chat, laughter and clinking glass and the quiet moments together overlooking the dam, taking it all in… The hilarious and heartfelt speeches and the jamming on the dancefloor! This is a wedding that will be remembered and a couple who will go from strength to strength, supportive, compassionate and invested. Enjoy the photos!
