Where do I even start with this wedding? I was totally transported into another world that day, a floral fantasy created by Fleur le Cordeur and when I left, it felt like waking up from a dream that you don’t want to end… Bianca radiated unequivocal beauty in her Kobus Dippenaar gown and Michael, rather dapper in his tails, was swept up in emotion as his future wife made her way towards him. The ceremony was overseen by their closest friends with words of wisdom and fondness throughout as well as a toast to the bridal couple and the celebrations continued in the werf, sparked up with light dancing on ice and fruit cubes with a gin-infused merriment. The close bonds and demonstrations of love between this family was incredible to witness, as well as the unique layout and free-flowing vibe of this wedding – speakers would pop up randomly in different sections of the garden, guests lounged and interacted with no formal seating plan and taste buds were tickled with the mad chef-skills of Slippery Spoon Kitchen. The day was perfectly coordinated and handled with love by the lovely Hannes of kraak and it’s so clear that he loves people and loves what he puts together for them! The dance floor came alive with the beats from the Frenchman, DJ René – a bunch of magnificent people celebrating a very much loved couple! So proud to have been there to capture the magic!
